This was our first international trip together, and our longest one to date. We’d been planning this one for awhile…opening up various credit cards to get us bonus miles to get each of us free roundtrip flights. Initially, our plan was to be in Switzerland for the whole time…about 3 weeks. Later on though, we decided to add 3 days in Paris to finish off the trip. As you’ll read on later though, we decided to add Italy in mid trip!
